Our client, a large industrial components manufacturer based in Telford, requires an experienced Process Improvement Engineer for a 9-month contract. You will lead a programme of lean transformation across their machining and assembly cells.
Responsibilities
- Map current state value streams and identify opportunities for waste elimination.
- Design and implement future state flows, working with production, quality, and engineering teams.
- Facilitate kaizen events and drive sustainable continuous improvement culture.
- Track and report on project benefits including cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and OEE improvement.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience delivering lean transformation in a manufacturing environment.
- Green or Black Belt certification (Lean Six Sigma).
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Experience in the automotive or industrial sector preferred.
