A leading accident repair network is looking for a qualified Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join their busy Coventry bodyshop. You will be responsible for producing accurate repair estimates and managing vehicle throughput from first notification of loss through to customer delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assess accident-damaged vehicles and produce detailed repair estimates using Audatex or Glassmatix.
- Liaise with insurers, fleet operators, and private customers throughout the repair process.
- Manage work-in-progress and ensure vehicles are delivered on time and to quality standards.
- Authorise and negotiate repair costs with insurance engineers.
Requirements
- ATA or IMI accreditation as a Vehicle Damage Assessor (essential).
- Proficient in Audatex estimation software.
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
- Previous bodyshop or FNOL experience highly desirable.
